  15. What is DoubleTouch ?

  17.     This control panel allows you to collapse window by using key touch.
  18.     
  19. Requirement
  20.     
  21.     •System 8 or later
  22.     •Appearance Manager
  23.     •All of Macintosh or Power Macintosh with above environment
  24.     
  25. Installation
  26.     
  27.     To install this, drag and drop onto the System Folder.
  28.     You can also directly put this into Control Panel Folder in the 
  29.     System Folder.

  31. What is merit to use DoubleTouch?
  32.     
  33.     Do you want to collapse windows to look at other window when 
  34.     editing text or doing any works with key board?
  35.     
  36.     If so, it may be troublesome that you turn key board loose and 
  37.     adjust mouse cursor on the title-bar in the window.
  38.     
  39.     Then, please try to use DoubleTouch, and you may be released from
  40.     this troublesome.

  42. How to use ?
  43.     
  44.     You can assign three key for DoubleTouch.
  45.     These keys are <touch key>,<modifier key> and <option key>.
  46.     Please set  <touch key> at lease, or DoubleTouch dose not work.
  47.     
  48.     To collapse window, <touch key> have to be touched twice continuously
  49.     as double click with mouse. I call this movement "double touch".
  50.     
  51.     If setting <modifier key>, <modifier key> must be pressed while you 
  52.     perform double touch.
  53.     
  54.     If you set <option key>, it is possible to collapse all the window 
  55.     in the current process.
  56.     Of course, to collapse all windows, <option key> must be pressed while
  57.     you perform double touch.

  59. Effective Keys
  60.     
  61.     Now, DoubleTouch supports following keys...
  62.         Command key
  63.         Option key
  64.         Shift key
  65.         Control key
  66.         
  67.         Function keys
  68.     
  69.     In applications that support function key, DoubleTouch does not work well.
  70.     In this case, you use either total free function key in the application or
  71.     other keys.
  72.     
  73.     Default setting is following...
  74.         <touch key>      : Command key
  75.         <modifier key> : Shift key
  76.         <option key>    : Option key
  77.     
  78.     If you want setting to put default back, eliminate a file "DoubleTouch Prefs"
  79.     from the Preference Folder in the System Folder.

  85.     No charges are needed for individual, non-commercial uses.
